This fact was revealed by her close friend, music observer Stanley Tulung. He mentioned that Yetty Widjaja had a medical history of illness that she had suffered from for quite some time.

"As far as I know, there is indeed a problem, there is diabetes, you know," said Stanley Tulung when contacted on Tuesday (25/8/2025).

Her struggle against this illness is no joke. According to Stanley, Yetty Widjaja's condition had drastically worsened, requiring her to be treated intensively in the hospital and she fell into a coma. "It's been a while. So, about a month ago, she was in a coma in the hospital," he explained.

However, a glimmer of hope emerged. After going through her critical phase, Yetty Widjaja's health gradually improved, and she was allowed to return to her home in Bandung. This improvement became a relief for her close ones.

Stanley recounted, "Basically, if I’m not mistaken, about a month ago she was in a coma for several days in the hospital, and after that, her condition improved, improved you know, and when she was getting better, about 3 weeks ago, I had a chance to visit her, I had a chance to visit her."
