Ridwan Kamil revealed that Geraldine Beldi found Eril's body accidentally. At that time, Geraldine Beldi was on her way to her teaching place.
"Her name is Mrs. Geraldine Beldi. An elementary school teacher who found Eril's body in the Aare River, while she was walking in the morning to her teaching place. She immediately called the police and finally Eril's body could be lifted and saved properly," said Ridwan Kamil.

As a form of appreciation for the help of Geraldine Beldi in finding her son's body, the Governor of West Java immediately searched for her teacher to express his gratitude in person. During their meeting, Ridwan Kamil did not forget to invite Geraldine Beldi to take a photo together.
"Please find that teacher for me," that was my instruction to the team in Bern. "I am obliged to express my gratitude before returning to my homeland." Alhamdulillah, we met at 11 o'clock after she finished teaching and I expressed my gratitude," he said.
Furthermore, Kang Emil also revealed his conversation with Geraldine Beldi. Apparently, the teacher knew about the news of Eril's disappearance and helped in the search every time she passed by the Aare River.
"We, the citizens of Bern, know everything about Eril's news. And I also have 2 children. So every time I walk, I always look towards the Aare River. And it turns out that I found him. Please accept our condolences, Sir." "If Mrs. Geraldine wants to vacation in Indonesia, please let me know. I will take care of everything as a token of our gratitude," Kang Emil said.
"Eril came here to study, and his destiny was saved by a kind-hearted and humble teacher. Thank you, Mrs. Geraldine Beldi. Hatur Nuhun. Thank you," he concluded.
As is known, Eril's body was found at the Engehalde dam in Bern, Switzerland on Wednesday (8/6/2022) morning local time. Missing for 14 days, Eril's body was found in good condition.
His mother, Atalia Praratya, through her Instagram post, said that Eril was found intact, complete, clean, handsome, smiling, and fragrant. Furthermore, Ridwan Kamil, who helped bathe the body in Switzerland, also confirmed that his eldest son emitted a scent like eucalyptus leaves.
Kang Emil also stated that he will bring Eril's body back to Indonesia. The plan is for Eril's body to arrive in the homeland on Sunday (12/6) and be buried on Monday.
"InshaAllah, Eril's body will return to the homeland on Sunday and be buried on Monday," Kang Emil continued.
