"I'm the one who initiated the mediation," said Wanda Hamidah, who was met at XXI Plaza Indonesia in Jakarta on Thursday (9/6/2022) night.
She believes that family issues should not be handled by the authorities. Her offer of mediation is solely for the sake of their child.
Therefore, she hopes for her ex-husband's forgiveness and willingness to accept the offer of mediation, which will be facilitated by the Metro Depok Police Resort.
"Family issues should be resolved through mutual understanding, for the sake of the child," said Wanda Hamidah.
Even if mediation does not reach a resolution, this 44-year-old woman will try to accept it. However, as a mother, she admits that she will continue to fight for her right to see her child, Malakai.
"I will accept it. But as a parent, I will never give up and will continue to strive to get my rights as a mother," she said.
As is known, Daniel Patrick reported Wanda Hamidah to the Metro Depok Police on Sunday (17/5/2022).
"Please pray for us, this is a family issue. Please pray for the best for my child, because family issues should not be aired out," he said.
Wanda is reported for alleged violations of Article 167 of the Criminal Code regarding entering someone's yard without permission and Article 406 of the Criminal Code regarding destruction.
In the continuation of the case, Wanda Hamidah submitted a mediation request to the Depok Metro Police. However, Daniel Patrick has not responded to Wanda's mediation request.
The issue between Wanda Hamidah and her ex-husband arose because Wanda felt that she was having difficulty meeting her child.
