The Reason Jessica Iskandar Just Revealed Her Third Child's Face After 40 Days

Jessica Iskandar finally introduced the face of her third child who has just been born. This special moment was shared through an Instagram post, complete with the beautiful name of the baby. Not only that, Jessica also explained the deep meaning behind her child's name.

"Her name is Hagia, which means blessing, so in different regions, the language has various meanings, and there is also Hagia, which means the house of God in the East," said Jessica Iskandar in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (14/1/2025).

"And for me, Hagia is short for happiness, so hopefully my child can be happy and bring happiness to the family and her surroundings," she added.

Jessica also shared a story about the warm reaction from her older sibling, Don Azaiah Jan Verhaag. Her second child seemed very enthusiastic in welcoming the birth of her younger sibling.

"I'm really happy, I want to carry [the baby], I want to kiss [the baby], always wanting to play around like suddenly waking up Hagia just to say 'I want to carry [the baby]', especially Don because Don is still a toddler so sometimes when told 'don't wake up the little one', 'no, I just want to carry [the baby]', but when he does that, he ends up waking up," she explained.

Jessica decided to introduce her child to the public after the baby was 40 days old. She took this step so that the family could get to know the baby personally first.

"Because when I gave birth, I really struggled, the process was quite long and exhausting. So I thought, let's just do it after 40 days, besides, we also have family who want to see [the baby] first," she said.

"Let the close families see first, get to know each other. So it's with the family first before others," he added.

As is known, Jessica experienced bleeding while giving birth to Hagia. Fortunately, Vincent Verhaag was always a vigilant husband.
