The Reason Marissa Anita's Divorce is Kept Secret, Court Protects Privacy

The divorce petition filed by actress Marissa Anita against her husband, Andrew Trigg, has been confirmed by the Central Jakarta District Court. However, the reason behind the breakdown of their 17-year marriage remains a mystery.

When met in his office on Monday (11/17/2025), spokesperson for the Central Jakarta District Court, Sunoto, was reluctant to disclose the reasons stated in the petition documents. According to him, this is a core matter of the case that is private in nature.

The court asserts that for divorce cases, details regarding the reasons or causes cannot be disclosed to the public as they pertain to the honor and privacy of the parties involved.

"Oh, I thought that was already part of the substance. So, because this divorce case is, you know, of a nature that involves honor and privacy, I think that is substantial," explained Sunoto.

The same applies when asked whether there are any other lawsuits accompanying it, such as the division of joint property or child custody. The court again stated that this matter has entered into the substance of the case.

"Eh, I think that has already entered the substance. So, it is clearly registered under number 785," he added.

Next, the legal process will begin with a mediation agenda at the first hearing scheduled for November 19, 2025. In this stage, the panel of judges will attempt to reconcile both parties.

"Yes, yes. So, when the first hearing takes place, once the parties are present, the first step that the panel will take is to mediate the concerned parties," said Sunoto.

If the mediation efforts, which are given 30 days, do not yield results, the trial will proceed to the evidence stage of the main case.

"Yes, right. So in the mediation process, there will be a 30-day period. If no agreement is reached, it will proceed to the main case," he concluded.
