Edwin recounts that his turning point occurred when he realized the human nature to keep working and being responsible, not just for oneself but also for family and those around him.
"The turning point was actually realizing that we can't just stay still. Indeed, Allah created humans to worship Him and to create something that works," said Edwin Super Bejo when met on Captain Tendean Street, Mampang, South Jakarta, Wednesday (29/10/2025).

From that awareness, he found a nobler purpose in life. Now, his greatest motivation in working is to become a person who can provide benefits to others.
"I want to, why do I want to pursue a career and work as best as possible? I want to be someone who is beneficial to other humans. That's the essence of it," he said.

Behind his rise, there is a significant role from the people closest to him, especially his wife. Edwin is grateful because during his difficult phase, his family never demanded or got caught up in complaints.
"They did not get caught up in demanding and complaining," he revealed.

He reminisces about a moment when he heard his wife's conversation that showed her full confidence in him. That trust has become one of his greatest sources of strength.
"I remember once talking to my wife, 'Just let him be like that, but I know, he will definitely rise again,'" Edwin recalls, imitating his wife's words.

His wife and family understand that every person can experience ups and downs and changes in mood. They believe that Edwin has the ability to improve the situation and become a better person.
"My closest people understand that sometimes humans go through mood swings or times like that, and they also believe that being close to Edwin means he can definitely improve and, God willing, be even better," he concluded.

"The fear of not having income. In the end, feeling like before he had, for example, ten, but then he can't reach ten anymore. But he wants to, as if there is. Ultimately, he sells his assets," he explains.
