This Entrepreneur and YouTuber Doesn't Want to Miss Sharing Qurbani Meat on Eid al-Adha

Kapanlagi.com - The implementation of sacrificial animal slaughter on Eid al-Adha 1441 H still applies health protocols considering the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, this does not deter the good intentions of Muslims to sacrifice for the sake of helping others.

From artists, influencers, to YouTubers, no one wants to miss the opportunity to show care and compassion by participating in qurbani on Eid al-Adha. Just like what Gilang Widya Pramana, a well-known YouTuber and culinary entrepreneur, did.

"Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the procedures for sacrificial animal slaughter will be different and follow health protocols. The distribution of qurbani meat is directly delivered to the homes of the underprivileged, and cleaning and disinfection of equipment are conducted before and after use.

"All of this is done to avoid the risk of COVID-19 transmission," said Gilang during the animal slaughter at his residence in the Malang area on Friday (31/7).

1. Slaughter of 9 Goats & 9 Cows

Gilang said that for this year's Eid al-Adha, he slaughtered 9 cows and 9 goats that will be distributed to 4 cities. In addition, for him, the sacrifice of sacrificial animals contains two values, namely individual piety and social piety.

"Alhamdulillah, on Eid al-Adha 1441 H, Juragan 99 Group slaughtered 9 cows and 9 goats that will be distributed to 4 cities, namely Bandung, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Malang," he said.

2. Social Piety

"Individual piety means that by sacrificing, one has fulfilled the command of Allah SWT as a manifestation of approaching Him. Sacrifice is also said to be social piety because it represents humanitarian solidarity," he continued.

On the other hand, according to this youtuber who started his business from scratch, this Eid al-Adha can be a momentum for the revival of the economy that has been affected by the pandemic in this New Normal era.
