This is Nirina Zubir's Story about the Dilemma of Work and Family, Admitting She Fears Her Children Will Lose Their Mother Figure

Nirina Zubir openly shared her struggle to get through a heavy burnout period. One of the most striking things is the big dilemma between continuing her work or refocusing on her family, especially her children.

Nirina mentioned that she was once at a point of indecision. She admitted to being haunted by the fear that her children would lose their mother figure due to her busy schedule in the entertainment world. Here’s the complete story!

Nirina, who has always been known as an active and caring mother, felt an incredible mental burden when her work schedule kept piling up. On the other hand, she realizes that a child's growth period cannot be repeated.

"I used to be really scared that the kids would feel the absence of their mother because I was too busy. Shooting schedules, taking care of this and that, until I was really exhausted," said Nirina in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, some time ago.

She then decided to take a break from the entertainment world to recover her mental health and be more fully present for her family. That decision wasn't easy, but for her, it was the best choice.   "Honestly, when I decided to take a break, I thought a lot about it. Because this isn't just about me as an artist, but also as a mother. I don't want to regret it later when the kids are grown and they ask, 'Where was Mama back then?'" she continued.

During that break, Nirina spent more time at home, from taking the kids to school to simply having meals together at the dining table. Those simple things actually gave her the strength to rise again.

She feels her presence as a mother is whole again and positively impacts family harmony. Her children also show changes in attitude that are more open and warm.   "The children are now more open, sharing anything. They also seem calmer, because they know their Mama is there," said Nirina.

Now that her condition has improved, Nirina is gradually returning to the acting world. However, she continues to maintain a balance between work and family. She is learning to be more selective in choosing projects and not to push herself too hard.

For Nirina, the role of a mother remains the top priority. She wants to ensure that her children grow up with a mother figure who is present, not just physically but also emotionally.
