Tiko Aryawardhana was reported by his ex-wife, Arina Winarto alias AW, for embezzlement of company funds. On July 12, Tiko filed a report regarding the transmission of personal data without permission.
The report from Bunga Citra Lestari's husband is registered under number LP/B/3968/VII/2024/SPKT POLDA METRO JAYA. The report is currently in the investigation stage.
"On July 12, we received a report from Mr. TPA. Reporting Ms. AW for the alleged criminal act of accessing someone else's electronic data without permission. The case is being handled and is in the investigation stage," said the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi, to the media on Monday (29/7/2024).
Tiko Aryawardhana filed a report at the Metro Jaya Police. However, the report has now been transferred to the South Jakarta Metro Police. What is the reason for this?
"The case is being handled by the South Jakarta Metro Police. (Regarding the transfer) the public can report incidents they experience anywhere," said Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi.
"Then it is considered whether it will be followed up by the Polda, Polres, and even can be handled by the Polsek," he continued.
Tiko Aryawardhana reported AW after his ex-wife reported him to the police regarding allegations of embezzlement of company funds.
So, what is the reason Tiko only reported now considering the incident happened in early 2023?
"According to the reporter's version, the incident occurred at the beginning of last year. That is based on the reporter's brief description which will be further investigated.
(Why now) the question can be asked directly to the reporter. It is the duty of the police to receive reports from the public," emphasized Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi.
