Kapanlagi.com - Good news comes from the couple Kevin Aprilio and Vicy Melanie. After postponing the arrival of their child for two years, Vicy Melanie announced that she is currently pregnant with their first child.
The couple, who got married on October 25, 2022, is happy to welcome the arrival of their new family member.
Kevin Aprilio expressed his happiness upon knowing that his wife, Vicy Melanie, is pregnant.
"Of course, we are very happy because we have always been asked when we will have a child during our three years of marriage. But indeed, in the first two years, we postponed having a child because we were focused on our careers. After two years, we decided to have a child in the third year," said Kevin Aprilio when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Friday (24/5/2024).
Kevin said that he and his wife have plans to start a pregnancy program after two years of postponement. They started trying the program since October 2023.
"We tried the program since October 2023, fortunately in February 2024, the test pack showed positive. Finally, we tested until we bought two tools, oh two blue lines," said Kevin.
Although they have received positive results from the pregnancy test, Kevin and Vicy chose to wait for further confirmation from the doctor before announcing it to the public.
"But we don't want to be happy yet, finally we went to the doctor, checked and Alhamdulillah, there is already a heartbeat. Thank you for your prayers," he said.
In addition, they also decided to wait until the pregnancy reaches four months to ensure the fetus is in a strong condition.
"A few weeks ago, we didn't want to answer to announce, because we were waiting for the pregnancy to reach four months first," said Kevin.
"To make the fetus stronger, we didn't want to rush too much. We chose to wait first, and now the age is already 20 weeks, almost five months," Kevin concluded.
On the other hand, it is still unknown what the gender of the baby in Vicy's womb is.
