Atta Halilintar, who also has plans to perform umrah this year, also shared his response. He admitted to feeling sad upon hearing the news of the cancellation, considering the great hopes of the pilgrims to set foot in Mecca and Medina.

"Yeah, if it's canceled, it's sad to hear. We also express our condolences to our friends there, but we just pray for the best from here," said Atta Halilintar when met in the Pondok Labu area, South Jakarta, on Monday (02/03/2026).

Although feeling concerned, Atta urged the public to remain positive and pray for the safety of their brothers and sisters in conflict areas. He hopes the situation will soon be conducive so that the worship of Muslims is not disrupted and the safety of civilians is maintained.

"May our brothers and sisters there receive the best protection from God," prayed Aurel Hermansyah's husband sincerely.

Atta himself has a strong intention to go for Umrah again in 2026. He feels that this Umrah moment will be special because his children are getting older and can join him in worship.

"Insyaallah I will go for Umrah again this year, especially since the kids are already big," he said with hope.

In the midst of global uncertainty, Atta chooses to focus on things he can control, namely improving himself and enhancing the quality of worship during the month of Ramadan. He hopes for peace to be established soon so that access to the Holy Land can be reopened wide for all Muslims around the world.
