If in the series KENAPA GUE she only portrays one character, it's a different story in the soap opera JANET & JAMILAH. The story of the lives of two twin siblings, which is the core of the story, requires Aisyah to portray two different characters at once.

Aisyah Aqilah revealed that she has never played such a role before. Therefore, thorough preparations must be made.

“So it happens that I have never portrayed twin characters before. This is the first time I portray two characters, twin siblings, so there is a reading and discussion with the director and producer,” said Aisyah Aqilah during a virtual interview some time ago.

Certainly, this is a challenge for Aisyah Aqilah because the two characters she plays are very different, Janet being feminine while Jamilah being tomboyish.

“I delve into the characters together, how to become Jamilah who is very tomboyish and likes outdoor activities, like a completely different person from Janet who is from a wealthy family and protected by her family, innocent. How to make the audience feel the difference between Janet on cam and Jamilah on cam, a different feel, I've been thinking about it since the beginning of filming until now,” she explained.

Certainly, this becomes a challenge for Aisyah Aqilah because the two characters she plays are very different, Janet who is feminine while Jamilah is tomboyish.

"I delved into the characters together, how to become Jamilah who loves trekking so much, like earth and sky, and Janet who is a rich girl protected by her family, innocent. How to make the audience feel Janet on cam and Jamilah on cam, different feelings, I have been thinking about it from the beginning until now during filming," she explained.

3. More Similar to Jamilah

Aisyah Aqilah also said that she is more challenged in portraying the character of Jamilah compared to Janet. She also mentioned that Jamilah's personality is more similar to hers.

"I am more similar to the real Jamilah, but not the kind who loves trekking and being wild. I am the type who is lively, while Jamilah is very outspoken. Janet is more feminine and innocent. I mostly have Jamilah's traits. Both of them have their own uniqueness. But if you ask me, Jamilah is fun, exciting, and challenging," she concluded.
