Kapanlagi.com - The movie CHASE THE SKY, a work of Viera production house, is finally ready to be screened in Indonesian cinemas. After being delayed for approximately two years, this film, directed by Bambang Drias, has released its official movie poster and official trailer.
Not only that, this family drama genre film for ages 13+ is also ready to entertain film enthusiasts wherever they are on March 10, 2022.
"I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. This is our first film, so I am very optimistic. Hopefully, the Omicron variant will not spread again, the peak of the issue was in February. I have seen several Indonesian films that have been screened, and the audience response has been good. I hope it will continue to improve," said Indra MS, the producer, recently.
The film, starring Al Ghazali, Jessica Mila, Kimberly Rider, Jeremy Thomas, Delano Daniel, Endhita, Mutia Datau, and Joshua Rubin, takes place in two different locations, the Netherlands and Indonesia.

The location selection between the Netherlands and Indonesia certainly has a strong background in this film. Certainly, there is a moral message that Bambang Drias, as the Director of the film MENGEJAR SURGA, wants to convey.
"I want to work on this because there are many incidents between two couples from different nationalities. Actually, one of the fathers is of Dutch descent. So, for the moral message, it doesn't have to be that couples from different nationalities have to divorce, no. The true love found between the two couples doesn't have to meet, but it remains attached. That's the meaning of true love in this film," he said.
The film MENGEJAR SURGA tells the story of a child's struggle to find his long-lost father. The whereabouts of his father, who left them long before the child was born, are unknown.
In order to fulfill his desire to make his father complete in their future marriage, the mother willingly lets the child go.
The search leads to extraordinary spiritual experiences for him, but it results in failure. His childhood friend cannot do much to help, even though he has exerted all his strength to accompany his friend in the Netherlands.
God always has another plan, the meeting did happen, but unfortunately the father was not ready to accept the reality. Changes in life never promise success, but there will never be success without effort in making changes.
Love is not about waiting for the person we love, for him love is about how this heart sincerely understands why we have to wait so long.
