Unresolved Case File P-21, Gisel Chooses to Be Grateful Instead of Complaining

Kapanlagi.com - Gisella Anastasia returned to report to the Jakarta Metro Police regarding the suspect designation in the pornographic video case.

Gisel stated that this is already the 27th time she has reported. Despite the repeated occurrences, Gisel claimed that it doesn't bother her.

"This is the 27th time. Complaints? No, I'm grateful, besides, I just have to come here. If I keep complaining, it seems pointless," said Gisel at the Ditreskrimum Building of the Jakarta Metro Police on Monday (26/4/2021).

1. Don't Know Yet

Gisel herself does not know when her mandatory reporting will end. She is only following her obligations according to the police's instructions.

"While the investigation is still ongoing, we still have to report every Monday and Thursday," said Gisel.

2. No Information Yet

Until now, Gisel and her legal team have not received any information regarding the transfer of her case files to the Prosecutor's Office and subsequently brought to trial.

While waiting for the P-21 files, Gisel will comply with the applicable provisions.

"Well, I just follow, just obey the process, what else can I do? It's okay if the consequence is to go back and forth every Monday and Thursday, it can still be endured. So now I choose to be grateful and follow the process," she said.

3. Designated as a Suspect

Gisel was designated as a suspect in the pornographic video case on December 19, 2020. The same goes for the male actor, Michael Nobu.

Since being designated as suspects, both of them have not been detained. They are required to report every Monday and Thursday.

In this case, Gisel is charged under Article 4 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 29 of Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning pornography.

Meanwhile, Nobu is charged under Article 8 of Law Number 44 of 2008 concerning pornography and Article 27 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 45 of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning information and electronic transactions.
