Update on Pandji Pragiwaksono's Report Regarding Standup Comedy 'Mens Rea'

Comedian Pandji Pragiwaksono is now at the center of public attention after his special performance titled 'Mens Rea' was reported to the authorities. The report submitted to the Metro Jaya Police relates to the content of the comedy material which is deemed disturbing to some groups in society.

In response to this, Pandji's party, through his lawyer Haris Azhar, provided the latest statement regarding the development of the case. Haris Azhar revealed that the legal process related to the report on the 'Mens Rea' material is currently underway at the police.

"The update is that, if we look at the police reports, they are examining 17 witnesses. That's it. For the rest, ask the police," said Haris Azhar at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, Monday (2/2/2026).

Pandji Pragiwaksono himself admitted that he is already aware of the reports directed at him. He chose to remain calm and leave all legal technical matters to his legal team.

Pandji also emphasized his readiness to cooperate as a citizen if needed by the investigative team.

"Well, maybe these individuals are exercising their rights as citizens, so I will just follow the process," said Pandji Pragiwaksono.

The comedian who successfully brought 'Mens Rea' trending on the Netflix platform emphasizes that every work he releases indeed has a special design.
