Celebrity couple Ustaz Solmed and April Jasmine are starting preparations ahead of the Eid al-Adha 2026. They visited the Jati Asih area in Bekasi to directly choose the sacrificial animals that will be slaughtered this year.

Ustaz Solmed explained that his visit to the farm aims to fulfill the sunnah recommended in Islam. He wants to ensure that the chosen animals truly meet the criteria so that their worship can proceed smoothly.

"Today I am here with my wife to look at the sacrificial animals. If we find a suitable one, hopefully, we can bring it for the sacrifice on the holiday," said Ustaz Solmed when met in the Jati Asih area, Bekasi, Tuesday (19/5/2026).

Before deciding to come to the location, Ustaz Solmed admitted that he had already monitored several cattle options through sent photos and videos. However, he felt unsatisfied if he did not see the physical condition and health of the animals in detail.

"From the photos and videos, it seems sufficient. But I still need to see the physical condition, which I haven't done yet. And today we want to see which ones are in those photos and videos," he explained.

After looking around the farm area, April Jasmine suggested a name for their chosen cattle. Ustaz Solmed approved the name because it contains prayers and hopes that their worship will provide wide benefits.

"Yes, Prime Condition and Blessing. Healthy and Blessed. This means it must be healthy, must be blessed. It shouldn't just be big, but it also needs to have its blessings. Amen," explained Ustaz Solmed.

This year's Idul Adha feels a bit different for Ustaz Solmed's family. Although they are enthusiastic about hunting for sacrificial animals, he feels that there is a missing atmosphere because his children are studying at the pesantren

"Last year it seemed like our children were still at home, still watching, witnessing. But this year it seems like for Idul Adha the children who are in the pesantren, the twins probably cannot see the sacrificial animals directly at home. That's the main difference," he expressed.

Ustaz Solmed hopes that his blessings will continue to increase every year so that he can increase the number of sacrificial animals. For him, sacrificing is a form of gratitude for all the blessings that God has given to him and his family.

"God willing, there will be an addition. Hopefully, there will be fortune. Oh, I also forgot how many yesterday, how many this year, I forgot. Because it's not at one point. So one point one by one like that, forgot," he concluded.
