In an official statement, PAN reaffirms its commitment to uphold the values of reform and advocate for the interests of the public through its legislative, budgeting, and oversight functions.
"In light of the current dynamics and developments, the DPP PAN has decided to deactivate my brother Eko Hendro Purnomo and my brother Surya Utama as Members of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the PAN Faction, effective Monday, September 1, 2025," the press release stated.
In addition to announcing the non-active decision, PAN also urged the public to remain calm and patient in facing the current political situation. The party, which bears the symbol of a white sun, asks the public to entrust the resolution of issues to the government under President Prabowo Subianto.
"PAN urges the public to remain calm, patient, and fully trust the government led by President Prabowo Subianto to resolve this issue appropriately, quickly, and always in favor of the people and for the progress of Indonesia in the future," wrote the DPP PAN in an official statement.
