Venna Melinda Responds to Rumors of Pregnancy Before Marrying Ferry Irawan

In response, Venna Melinda remained calm. The former Miss Indonesia 1994 admits that her stomach is no longer the same.

"There are always netizens who say I'm fat, but I am indeed fat now," said Venna Melinda when met at Pondok Indah Mall, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (2/2).

1. Defense of Ferry Irawan

As a prospective husband, Ferry Irawan defends that Venna Melinda's stomach looks bigger because of the clothes she wore for the pre-wedding.

"Even though the Balinese outfit is not for women, men can wear the layers too," said Ferry Irawan.

2. Planning to Get Pregnant Again

The ex-wife of Ivan Fadillah is aware of herself. At the age of almost 50, it is certainly difficult for her to get pregnant.

"But, if suddenly I get pregnant, just pray for it. If there is, it means that it is Allah's will," concluded Venna Melinda.

3. Engagement Coming Soon

In the near future, Venna Melinda and Ferry Irawan will hold an engagement ceremony. They chose February 9th because it coincides with Ferry's birthday.

"The closest preparation is the engagement on the 9th, and after that, we will proceed with the wedding ceremony," said Ferry Irawan.

4. Always Alone

The chosen date turned out to be earlier than planned. Venna wants the engagement ceremony to be held on Ferry Irawan's birthday because her future husband has never celebrated his special day with anyone else.

"We are still adjusting the date. The closest one is on February 9th, which is Abi's birthday and also my engagement day," said Venna Melinda.

"Yes, because he feels sorry that his birthday is never celebrated, no one gives him gifts. He always celebrates his birthday alone. I feel sorry for him," she continued.

5. Little Preparation Time

Initially, Venna Melinda's desire to advance the date of her engagement could not be done due to the short time interval.

"I did ask the wedding organizer. Initially, they were not ready for February 9th because it was too close. But I said, let's do it for Abi who has never celebrated his birthday. Let's make it a lively event with complete family, full team," concluded the mother of Verrel Bramasta.
