"Today I feel extremely relieved. Why relieved? Because all this time I was not allowed to speak about the case," said Dr. Reza Gladys when met after the hearing on Thursday (24/7/2025).

He did not hesitate to praise the skill of his lawyer who has guided him to refrain from the chaos of social media to focus on proving his case in court.

"Because my lawyer, Bang Biring, is incredibly great, he is very able to cover for me so that I do not shout on social media," he said.

He took the opportunity in front of the court to reveal everything he has experienced. One of the most crucial points revealed is the allegation of a request for a fantastic amount of money. His husband, Attaubah Mufid, mentioned the amount in foreign currency."In essence, he asked for 2 million Singapore dollars," Mufid stated firmly.

According to him, the request was accompanied by intimidation tactics by invoking the names of high-ranking officials. This is suspected to be done to scare his side into immediately fulfilling the request.

"Bringing up public officials, bringing in the National Police Chief, bringing in Mr. Listyo Sigit, bringing in Mr. Prabowo, as if he is close, as if he is intimidating me," he explained.

Reza also lamented the narrative that is always skewed as if he has a problematic product, whereas according to him the essence of this case is extortion.
