The streaming platform Vidio is back with a new show titled A dan Z: InsyaAllah Cinta on Thursday, February 19, 2026. This series, directed by Key Mangunsong, has become one of the most anticipated releases as it is adapted from a popular work on Wattpad.

This series is based on an online novel by Erlis Kurniyanti that has been read over 29 million times. This popularity serves as a strong asset in attracting viewers, especially loyal readers who have followed the story since its early appearance on the digital platform.

In a press conference at XXI Senayan City, South Jakarta, Erlis expressed her happiness seeing her story finally brought to the screen. She described the adaptation journey as a long process filled with anticipation.

"Of course, I am happy because the story that has been around for quite a while, about four years on Wattpad, has finally been realized as an adaptation," said Elis at the press conference in XXI Senayan City, South Jakarta, Thursday (19/2).

Not only the writer is enthusiastic, but the female lead in this series also feels the same way. Laura Moane, who plays the character Zara, admitted to feeling both nervous and excited when she first learned that the project was adapted from Wattpad, which has a large reader base.

"Because this is adapted from Wattpad, honestly when I first found out I was immediately excited but also a bit anxious. A story that already has loyal readers definitely comes with high expectations. But because we had many discussions about the characters with the writer, it feels more reassuring and directed," said Laura.

Erlis also highlighted the long journey of her work since it was first published in August 2021 until it was finally produced into a series in 2026. She feels grateful because this adaptation process still maintains the essence of the story that has always been in the readers' minds.

"Since the first time A and Z were written on Wattpad in August 2021, until it was finally adapted into a series in 2026, this has been a long journey full of processes. I am very happy because the cast matches the visuals I have always imagined," said Elis.

In general, A and Z: InsyaAllah Cinta tells the story of Zara, a medical student who receives her last message from her sister, Fara, before she passes away. The message asks her to marry the man she has been arranged with, a decision that drastically changes the course of her life.

A marriage without love brings Zara together with Abyan, a mature, calm, and responsible man. Although she is now a wife, Zara continues to engage in activities as a young person, from hanging out with friends, playing padel, to occasionally going to the beach to unwind. The dynamics of their household become the main focus of the story, filled with conflicts and a process of maturation.

A dan Z: InsyaAllah Cinta will premiere exclusively on Vidio in eight episodes starting February 19, 2026, offering an emotionally charged romance story that is expected to replicate the success of its Wattpad version.
