Lyodra Margareta Ginting, or commonly known as Lyodra, is a singer who rose to fame from a talent search competition, Indonesian Idol 2020. Born on June 21, 2003, she is now categorized as one of the top singers in Indonesia to be reckoned with.

1. Achieving Since Childhood

Lyodra did not achieve her success instantly. The woman born in Medan, North Sumatra, has started her singing career since she was young. This is because her singing talent has been seen since she was a child.

When she was still in elementary school, Lyodra participated in the Porseni competition between elementary schools in Medan and won first place. Not stopping there, she participated in the talent search event, Indonesia Mencari Bakat (IMB) in 2014 and survived until the top six. Lyodra also won an international competition in Italy titled Festival Sanremo Junior when she was 13 years old and became the champion.

2. Becoming the Champion of Indonesian Idol 2020

With a myriad of achievements that she felt were not enough, Lyodra Ginting participated in the talent search event Indonesian Idol 2020 at the young age of 16. However, who would have thought that the young singer would come out as the champion and beat her competitor, Tiara Andini.

It is known that Lyodra has a distinctive vocal voice. She is blessed with the ability to reach the highest voice above falsetto, namely whistle register/whistle voice. She even performed at the Presidential Palace on the moment of August 17th, 2016.

3. Collaborating with Several Musicians and Producing Hit Songs

After successfully becoming the winner of Indonesian Idol, Lyodra began to build her career. She collaborated with several Indonesian musicians such as Anji, Lale, Ilman, and Nino.

This led to good results for Lyodra. Proven by every single she released becoming hits and popular. Like her collaboration with Lale, Ilman, and Nino with the song titled Gemilang Hatiku. Then there is a song titled Tentang Kamu collaborated with Anji, and her latest song Pesan Terakhir.

4. Venturing into the Acting World

Not only singing, Lyodra also developed her talents in acting by trying her hand at the world of performing arts. In 2021, she made her debut by starring in a webseries titled 7 Days Before 17 Years Old.

In the webseries, Lyodra played the character named Gina, an antagonist who likes to get angry, and her acting debut caught the attention of viewers. Apparently, acting has been Lyodra's dream since she was a child, and she has now successfully made it a reality.

5. Winning Best Album of The Year

Despite her young age, Lyodra has achieved remarkable success. The champion album of Indonesian Idol 2020 also successfully earned the title of Album of The Year at the Indonesia Music Awards 2021.
