Romi The Jahat's condition had deteriorated. He was reported to have undergone intensive care for the past two weeks.
However, the cause of the punk band vocalist's death is still unknown. Now, only Romi The Jahat's works will always be remembered by fans and relatives.
Romi was active in the punk scene since the late 1990s, having been the vocalist of the band Marjinal before founding Romi & The Jahats. His song lyrics are filled with social criticism.
When he joined the band Marjinal in 1997, his partners were Mike (guitar), Bob OI! (bass), and Steve (drums). Romi was part of the early formation that made Marjinal one of the most respected punk bands in Indonesia.
