Wardatina Mawa and Insanul Fahmi Agree to Divorce, No Hope for Reconciliation

The hope of seeing the celebrity Wardatina Mawa and Insanul Fahmi reunite seems to have faded. In the hearing held at the Lubuk Pakam Religious Court, both parties firmly expressed their desire to continue the divorce process.

Muhammad Idrus, Mawa's legal counsel, stated that the panel of judges had attempted to mediate. However, both Mawa and Insanul, through their respective legal representatives, have made a firm decision to separate.

"So earlier in the trial, the judges also asked whether there had been any attempts at reconciliation and whether both parties wanted to reunite? However, our side stated that they still want to separate, and from Insanul's side, their legal counsel also stated they want to separate as well. That's how it is," said Muhammad Idrus at a virtual press conference on Wednesday (03/06/2026).

This decision allows the trial process to continue on the main subject of the lawsuit. There was no agreement to reconcile in either the mediation agenda or the subsequent trial that has taken place.

"Yes, that's correct, indeed. Because Insanul's side also stated they want to separate. So there is no agreement to reunite," emphasized Idrus.

Even though the husband and wife relationship is on the brink, Mawa still provides access for Insanul Fahmi to meet their children. This access is granted based on an agreement that has been previously discussed.

"Yes, there has been an agreement in the mediation that took place yesterday that the child is given access to Insanul as long as it does not interfere with his schooling," he said.

However, communication between Mawa and Insanul is no longer done directly. Insanul must go through Mawa's trusted person if he wants to meet or pick up his children.

"To our knowledge, Mawa provides access through a trusted person of hers. So Insanul communicates with her if he wants to take the children," he concluded.

Wardatina Mawa officially filed for divorce from Insanul Fahmi on February 26, 2026, at the Lubuk Pakam Religious Court, North Sumatra. The divorce hearings have now taken place several times, and both parties have agreed to divorce.
