Wedding Plans Next Year, Brisia Jodie and Jonathan Alden Seek Auspicious Date - Attend Pre-Marital Course

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Brisia Jodie has just been proposed to by her boyfriend named Jonathan Alden. The ring-giving process was done by Alden coinciding with the release of Jodie's latest single.

Alden stated that even though he has proposed, their wedding will not be rushed. They are waiting for an auspicious day based on date calculations.

"It doesn't have to be rushed like chasing a deadline. Because we need to see the moment, like when is a good date," said Alden when met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (9/9/2024).

Not only about calculations in Javanese or Chinese beliefs, Brisia Jodie and Jonathan Alden also have to attend the Marriage Preparation Course organized by the Catholic Church.

"Because I am Javanese, and in Chinese there are also calculations, so (the wedding date) has to be calculated first," Jodie said on the same occasion.

She continued, "Then we have to go to school. Because we are Catholic, there is a marriage school first. We have been looking for information with help from the family too," added Jodie.

2. Plans to Get Married Next Year

Brisia Jodie plans to marry Jonathan Alden next year. However, she does not want to talk much until the right time comes to share the happiness.

"If it’s really the right time, it will definitely happen. It depends on what is above, anyway, God’s timing is the best. But most likely it will be next year," concluded Brisia.
