Wenny Ariani's Lawsuit Against Rezky Aditya Rejected by the Legal Assembly, This Single Mother Fights for an Appeal

Wenny Ariani, a woman who claims to have a child with Rezky Aditya, has filed a civil lawsuit for Rezky Aditya to acknowledge her daughter as his own flesh and blood at the Tangerang District Court.

Unfortunately, Wenny Ariani's lawsuit was rejected by the panel of judges and determined that Rezky Aditya did not commit any illegal acts. Wenny's lawsuit against Citra Kirana's husband was rejected due to lack of evidence. Now, the single mother has filed an appeal against the decision of the Tangerang District Court.

"I don't know the basis, but according to the court, it's due to lack of evidence. But in my case, I think it's about the DNA test. I already have all the evidence, photos, and everything," said Wenny in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (1/3/2022).

1. No Marriage

Wenny Ariani admits that she and Rezky Aditya have no marriage. However, their relationship resulted in one child. Based on that, Wenny insists on asking Rezky to acknowledge their child.

"Initially, Rezky did not acknowledge it, only business, but eventually I gave him proof that he admitted to knowing. Where is the evidence, while the only evidence here is the DNA test and it was not accepted by the court," Wenny added.

2. Continuing to Fight for the Child

Wenny admits that she is well aware that engaging in sexual relations outside of marriage is a mistake. However, the child born from that relationship should not be blamed and abandoned by their parents.

"The basis for my action is the revised marriage law, which mentions 'I forgot'. But the main point is that every child born out of wedlock has the right to legal recognition not only from the biological mother but also from the biological father, which can only be proven through a DNA test. That's why I am fighting," said Wenny.

3. The Child Has Rights

Wenny Ariani reveals that her child has his own power outside of his parents. Furthermore, he also has the right as a citizen to demand it all.

"According to me, none of us have ever escaped from mistakes, everyone has their own faults, but can't those mistakes be fixed? Because those mistakes are the fault of his parents, my child is not guilty," said Wenny.

4. Rezky's Name Feels Tarnished

On Rezky Aditya's side, he feels that his name has been tarnished by the accusations made by Wenny. Rezky Aditya's lawyer, Ana, revealed that even though his client's reputation has been tarnished, he ensures that Rezky Aditya will not take legal action to counterattack Wenny.

"There's no need because once we never stop, there's always trouble here and there. We want everything to be resolved peacefully, if there's a legal effort, we will face it with a legal effort," said Ana.
