The Director of Special Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimsus) of East Java Regional Police, Kombes Pol Gidion Arif Setyawan, said that the police have sent summons to the artists suspected of being involved in the illegal investment of PT Kam and Kam through the MeMiles application.

"We have sent summons to 4 artists. They are summoned as witnesses," he said on Tuesday (7/1).

Until now, the East Java Regional Police have not yet revealed the names of the artists who will be summoned for questioning. "They can come later," said the Director of Criminal Investigation.

Commissioner Gidion only provided a clue that all the artists who will be summoned are those whose figures have appeared on the MeMiles @memiles_ofc Instagram page.

"Yes, yes, they are the ones who will come," said Commissioner Gidion.

As previously known, several artists who have appeared on their Instagram feed, MeMiles, include at least four individuals. They are Mulan Jameela, Judika, Widi the vocalist of the band Hello, Siti Badriah, and Marcello or Ello.

2. Confiscated Gifts

Some of these artists have received several gifts with a fantastic value. For example, Ello received a luxury car at a relatively cheap price.

Furthermore, Commissioner Gidion stated that all the items and gifts obtained by these artists will be immediately confiscated as evidence.

3. Become a Witness

In addition, the capacity of the artists who will be called is only as witnesses to be further questioned about the fake investment of PT Kam and Kam with the MeMiles application.

"What is clear is their capacity as witnesses. Some of them have received rewards, become members, and topped up, while others have also been endorsed in events organized by MeMiles," concluded Gideon.
