Happiness can clearly be seen from the face of Saipul Jamil. This is because he has just completed his sentence on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Surely there are many things that the 41-year-old singer will do on his first day of freedom. Let's take a look at his photos.

Saipul Jamil immediately headed towards Serang, Banten, his hometown after leaving Cipinang Penitentiary in East Jakarta. His plan is to visit the graves of his late parents.

Uniquely, when he arrived at his residence, Saipul Jamil was greeted in an unusual way. When in front of the door, Saipul's family treated him with coins and candies.

"Coincidentally, I am an orphan, a widower, and everything, this is a replacement for my parents, I just follow the tradition of giving and receiving," said Saipul Jamil at his residence in Serang, Banten, on Thursday (2/9).

Saipul Jamil also explained the meaning behind the way he was greeted. According to him, it is a symbolic gesture to bring back his fortune and open it up again as it used to be.

"That was just to bring back my fortune, it's a tradition, not to get rid of bad luck. I don't know the amount, I just follow it until I arrive home safely," he said.

"Yes, just follow the coins. If it's just in my mind, hopefully I will get more blessings. We've spent everything," he continued.

In addition, the singer who is familiarly called Bang Ipul admitted that from initially being ignorant of the law, he now understands more after more than five years of serving his sentence.
