Collaboration, Indah Sari and Dinar Candy Mock LGBT Community in Their Latest Single?

Kapanlagi.com - Dangdut singer Indah Sari released her latest song titled Pintar Main Lidah. In the song, she collaborates with Dinar Candy.

"Alhamdulillah today Indah Sari featuring Dinar Candy released a single titled Pintar Main Lidah," said Indah Sari in Jakarta on Saturday (14/5/2022).

Dinar Candy stated that their new song has lyrics with multiple interpretations, it can refer to someone who is skilled at speaking, or it can also be interpreted as a mockery of the LGBT community.

1. Not Disparaging

If associated with the LGBT community, both Indah Sari and Dinar Candy emphasize that their new song is not meant to disparage or glorify the LGBT community.

"The song Pintar Main Lidah can have different meanings, it can be universal, it can mock those who went viral yesterday, regarding LGBT issues, or it can be interpreted as being skilled at speaking," said Dinar Candy, agreed by Indah Sari.

2. Sempat Takut

According to Indah Sari and Dinar Candy, they were initially afraid to perform the song because it contained lyrics that offended the LGBT community.

"We do not discriminate, but we also do not promote it. Because communities like that are in front of us, they have been around for a long time, right?" said Indah Sari, agreed by Dinar Candy.

"I was nervous when singing this," said Indah Sari.

3. Ready to Take Risks

However, as professional singers, they admitted that they are ready to face the risks if they get criticism because of their new song.

"Because some parts are too vulgar, so we are like an LGBT couple. Yes, this song is quite controversial," added Dinar Candy.

4. Already Released

Pintar Main Lidah is a creation of Riccardo Mazzoni and distributed by Seven Star Records label. The song can already be seen on YouTube and various music platforms.

"At first, I was afraid. But in the entertainment world, we have to be ready, so when the boss first explained that this song was related to the LGBT community, I was hesitant. But the people behind me who work must be professional, whether they are criticized, insulted, or praised, we must be ready," said Indah Sari.
