Doesn't Want to be Called a Follower, Dewi Perssik Admits to Having Pursued Pole Dance Since 2013

Kapanlagi.com - Pole dance, or dancing with a pole, has become one of the sports that many celebrities in the country enjoy. Just like Dewi Perssik, who apparently has been familiar with this sport since 2013.

Through her personal Instagram, Depe, as she is familiarly called, uploaded a photo of herself returning to pursue pole dance after being on hiatus for quite a while. In the photo, Depe can be seen effortlessly performing one of the difficult moves in pole dance.

1. Known Pole Dance Since Long Ago

Dewi Perssik herself admitted that she had not done pole dance for quite a long time. The 33-year-old dangdut singer asked for help from Vikcy Burky, a celebrity who is also a professional pole dance instructor.

Depe also told the story of how she fell in love with this sport. Her love for it began when she started playing a role in a film, which eventually became an activity she enjoyed.

"Is just the beginning baby. My teacher @vickyburkiballet @mamethoo To: I have known pole dance since 2013. When I played in the movie 'rising from the mud'," Dewi Perssik wrote on her Instagram post.

2. Not Just Following the Trend

As is known, pole dance itself seems to have become one of the trends among celebrities. She emphasized that the pole dance she does is not just following the trend, but a sport that she has liked since long ago.

"Not just FOLLOWING but this is one of the sports that I like. And I am being tortured and doing sports together with @hafnifrisdiana to bring back my talent in this field," she explained.
