Eby DA5's performance at the Mega Concert D'Academy 7 World Cup Party truly drained a lot of energy. The singer from D'Academy 5 felt that her stage act that night was like undergoing heavy physical training.
"I got into the spirit. Especially for the football-loving audience. Oh, I can say that I'm not really into football," said Eby DA5 when met at the Mega Concert D'Academy 7 World Cup Party, Emtek Studio, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, Monday (15/6/2026).
The dynamic concept of the event required Eby to keep moving actively to the beat of the music. She felt an extraordinary excitement while having to sing while performing agile choreography in front of the audience.
"Yes, it was fun, really fun. It felt like we got the happiness, and we also got the tiredness because we were singing exciting songs and jumping around," he said.
Although he was out of breath from the intense physical activity, Eby admitted to being very satisfied with his performance. He felt that the vibes of the sports competition were successfully channeled through the modern form of dangdut art.
"So it's like being involved in sports but in a different way, through singing, gaming, and happily dancing and so on," he said.
Eby saw the enthusiasm of the football fans present as an additional boost of spirit for him on stage. The lively lights and sporty studio decorations made that night very memorable for the artist.
"Tonight the atmosphere is really hype, really fun, and truly passionate. Well, how can it not be like that when it comes to sports, so the vibes can be similar," he said.
"So the vibes can be similar, but in the form of singing and dancing. So just keep supporting, just support and have fun," he said.
Rico predicts that several other strong countries as well as teams from Asia could provide fierce competition and create new history as dark horses.
