It was proven through videos circulating on social media that the audience set the stage on fire.

This happened as a result of the disappointment of the audience because NDX AKA and Guyon Waton failed to perform on stage. The organizers of Lentera Festival are still being sought by the police.

1. Apologize

The dangdut music group from Yogyakarta, Guyon Waton and NDX A.K.A apologize to the audience who have already paid for tickets to the Lentera Festival concert at Pasar Kemis Field, Tangerang Regency, on Sunday night, June 23, 2024.

They canceled their performance because the organizers have not yet paid the payment and their leader is suspected of fleeing with hundreds of millions of rupiah for the event.

2. Canceled Concert

As a result, the festival that was supposed to start at 19.00 was canceled, causing the audience to become angry and set fire to the event venue.

"We apologize, friends from Tangerang. For the certainty of the Lentera Festival Tangerang 2024 event, we are still waiting for the organizers to fulfill and complete their administrative obligations to @guyonwatonofficial and @ndxakatv," wrote Guyon Waton in a post on Instagram.

3. There is an Agreement Letter

They also shared a photo of the signed agreement letter by Muhamad Dian Permana, Executive Chairman of Lentera Festival, who promised to fulfill administrative obligations before the event started. In another post, Guyon Waton asked the audience to be patient.

"So, for those who are waiting for NDX A.K.A and GUYONWATON, please be patient," wrote Guyon Waton.

4. Vendors Suffer Losses

The losses suffered by Lentera Festival vendors are significant. Music equipment vendors, such as sound systems and stage equipment, experienced losses amounting to hundreds of millions of rupiah.

Some musical instruments were damaged and iron fences were broken and looted by disappointed audience members. The Instagram account @ima_ervi, allegedly owned by a vendor of concert stage equipment, requested assistance in finding those who took their equipment home. The losses are estimated to reach billions of rupiah, as posted on the Instagram account @soundtainment.

5. Police Conduct Search for Committee

The police have conducted an investigation related to the riots that occurred at the Lantern Festival Concert in Tangerang, Banten. Pasarkemis Police Chief, AKP Ucu Nuryandi, emphasized that the disappointment of the audience due to the concert's delay caused disturbances in the form of burning concert facilities on the football field.

The police have requested accountability from the organizers of the music festival, who were not present at the scene during the incident. They are also searching for the committee to hold them responsible for the disturbances and damage to the facilities.
