Kapanlagi.com - Good and proud news comes from the dangdut singer who graduated from Liga Dangdut 2020, Hari Putra. As a son of the Jambi region, Hari Putra grew up with a strong Malay music atmosphere.

Since the 2nd grade of junior high school, he has been accustomed to singing Malay songs on various local stages, such as the anniversary of the Jambi province and other regional events. This has given Hari Putra a strong and authentic vocal character in delivering this genre.

On June 11, 2025, Hari once again greets Indonesian music lovers by releasing his latest single that carries the Malay dangdut genre. Together with his record label 3D Entertainment and Stream Entertainment as his artist management,

The single Zapin Hati Melayang was released through various Digital Streaming Platforms. Meanwhile, the music video was aired on the same day at 16:00 WIB on the 3D Entertainment YouTube Channel.

1. Special Collaboration

Zapin Hati Melayang is the result of a special collaboration with renowned songwriter, Tengku Shafick, who is also known for his skill in creating and arranging music with a Malay touch.

"The song Zapin Hati Melayang was created from a conversation with Hari who really wanted to release a traditional Malay single but still wanted a modern touch," explained Tengku Shafick during an interview with the media crew.

"Coincidentally, in 2025 I haven't created any Malay songs, so this is like a moment I've been really looking forward to," he added.

2. Challenging Music Video Shoot

The location for Hari's music video shoot was in the Bandung area, West Java. He had an exciting experience during the shoot.

"The shoot was really full of challenges. Because the location was outdoors, we were very dependent on the weather. Just when we were enjoying dancing, it started to rain heavily. We waited for it to subside, danced again, and then it rained again. So we were really racing against the rain during the shoot," said Hari.

"Another exciting thing was that the ground at the shooting location was muddy because of the rain, and Hari and the music video model had to run around chasing each other while holding hands, and the mud stuck to their shoes and pants. It was really fun," he added.

3. Preserve Malay Culture

Through his work, Hari Putra carries a noble mission to preserve and popularize Malay culture amidst the onslaught of modern music. He believes that music is the most effective medium to bridge the younger generation with their cultural roots.

"This song is not just a work, but a form of my love for Malay culture that has been a part of my life since childhood," said Hari Putra.

"With the release of this single, Hari wants to be better known by the public as a Malay dangdut singer while also highlighting the characteristics of Jambi. Who knows, the Malay Jambi song could become famous and penetrate the ASEAN market. Amen," he concluded.
