Kiara Dangdut Academy 8 Please Pray for the People of Musi Rawas

This participant from Musi Rawas performed in the Final Audition of Dangdut Academy 8 with the experience of singing since she was three years old. Her love for music grew thanks to her father, who introduced her to various genres, including dangdut songs, from a young age.

Kiara revealed that the atmosphere at her home has always been close to music. Although she often listens to pop and jazz songs, the legendary dangdut works of Rhoma Irama are some of the music that her father plays most frequently. It was from this habit that her love for dangdut continued to develop.

"Actually, Kiara has been singing since she was 3 years old, even if it was just casual singing with Dad. Dad also often played Pak Haji Rhoma's songs. Sometimes pop songs, sometimes jazz," Kiara said when met at the Indosiar Studio, Jakarta, on Monday (29/6/2026).

As she grew older, Kiara continued to hone her singing skills until she finally had the opportunity to participate in Dangdut Academy 8. For her, family support is one of the greatest strengths to perform maximally on stage.

Not only relying on her abilities, Kiara also hopes that the prayers and support from the people in her hometown can be a source of motivation during the competition.

"To the people of Musi Rawas, especially in Marabakti, Kiara asks for your prayers and support. I hope Kiara can perform smoothly and continue to step forward," she said.

Behind her confident appearance, Kiara admits she still feels nervous when performing in front of the judges. Nevertheless, she chooses to cultivate self-confidence based on the skills she has honed since childhood.

"There is definitely some nervousness. But what makes Kiara confident comes from within herself, from that belief," she concluded.

With her early singing experience, family support, and prayers from the people of Musi Rawas, Kiara hopes to continue to advance in Dangdut Academy 8 and deliver her best performances in every round.
