LCLD 6 Announces Top 20 Best Songs, Rita Sugiarto: Many Debates Among Judges!

Kapanlagi.com - The 6th Dangdut Song Creation Contest (LCLD) has entered a new phase. After the first round of judging in April 2025, the Jury finally determined the 20 best songs from each category that were contested.

The categories contested include themes of Social and Cultural, Politics and Nationalism, Religion, and Romance. The selection process was rigorous and involved various musicians and public figures as judges.

1. It's Not Easy to Determine the Best

One of the judges in the romance song category, Rita Sugiarto, admitted that the judging process was not easy. Many participant songs were worthy and led to debates among the judges in determining the best choice.

"Many songs became a topic of debate among the judges. Yes, I have my favorite. Other judges also have their favorites. But, we agree. The assessment must be based on criteria," said the singer of the song Oleh-Oleh.

2. Judging is Done in a Marathon Style

Not only in the romance category, tension is also felt in the Social and Cultural as well as Political and National categories. Songs that are deemed to touch on current social and political issues made the judging process heated.

The judging was conducted in a marathon fashion and resulted in a list of the top 20 songs from each category. Names of song creators such as Ais Arza, Ihya Ulumuddin, and R. Husin Albana appeared more than once in the nomination list. One of the judges in the political category, who is also a member of the DPR, Nuroji, stated that the substance of the song is one of the important factors in the judging process.

"The judging became even more heated due to the substance and correlation with social and political conditions," he revealed.

3. Set the Singer Candidate

The committee has also appointed professional music arrangers to work on the songs that made it to the top 20. Names like Hendro Saky, Khalid Karim, and Ricky Flo are ready to provide quality musical touches.

Not only that, but the committee has also started to establish singer candidates to perform the winning songs. Top dangdut singers such as Evie Masamba, Erie Suzan, and Cici Faramida are also on the list.

The complete results of the top 20 songs from each category can be viewed through the official channel of the LCLD 6 organizers. The final winner will be announced after the recording process and further assessments are completed.
