Inul Daratista recounts the first time she met Eyang Titiek Puspa at a cafe filled with wealthy people dining with family and partners. It turns out, Eyang Titiek Puspa was a fan of Inul. Â "So I just followed her everywhere. Eventually, we became close," she said on the Inul Daratista Official YouTube channel, on Saturday (19/4/2025).
For Inul, Eyang Titiek is the frontline for her during times of being banned, protested against, and intimidated. The late Titiek Puspa fiercely defended Inul.
Inul Daratista recounts that her relationship with Titiek Puspa has lasted for 23 years. Their closeness is beyond doubt.  "Even though sometimes, if I don’t call for a week, I feel like I miss her, I’ll call after taking a shower. And suddenly, there’s a call from Eyang Titiek. It feels like we are soulmates," she explained. Â
Their togetherness is not always exposed to the media. This apparently is a message from Eyang Titiek Puspa.  "Because her message was, she preferred it to be just you and me. Like regular people, visiting, telling stories, chatting doesn’t have to involve candid photos or videos. The story about us flows every day. There is humor, laughter, anger, everything," concluded this mother of one.
Grandma is a figure who sincerely helps Inul. From starting a business to having no money. Titiek Puspa also becomes the best listener and advisor.
Titiek Puspa gives a lot of advice, one of which is asking Inul to save money to buy real diamonds, not imitations. In short, Inul has no money and wants to sell her diamond ring.
After confiding in Grandma Titiek, Inul was instead given money and prayed for Inul to receive abundant blessings. I really admire the closeness between Titiek Puspa and Inul Daratista.
