Kapanlagi.com - Due to the widespread spread of the corona pandemic in Indonesia, the call to avoid crowds is increasingly voiced. In support of this, Indosiar chose to hold the LIDA 2020 competition without an audience in the studio.

As one of the judges of LIDA 2020, Reza Zakarya admitted that he actually feels more enthusiastic when there is no audience. The judges focus on giving assessments to the participants' performances.

"As judges, we are actually excited because we feel like we are back in our position when we were judging during the auditions. Honestly, communication among the judges is better and more focused, but the participants are the ones who seem to drop," he said when contacted by Kapanlagi.com via telephone on Wednesday (25/3).

1. Participant's Spirit Down

Unfortunately, Reza's absence acknowledged by the audience has caused a decrease in the participants' self-confidence. "There are participants who actually get motivated when watched, now I can see a drastic difference in their spirit," he said.

Nevertheless, supporters of each participant can still provide support through videos they send to Indosiar. "Finally, Indosiar has provided a solution for each supporter to send a support video to the team to be played before the participant performs. So they feel like someone is watching even though from home. As a judge, we try to create a positive atmosphere," added Reza.

2. Not Feeling the Difference

For Reza, he himself does not feel much difference during the LIDA 2020 event without an audience. "For me, it feels the same, this is a moment that requires it and we can't force it. This is a good step in my opinion," he said.

The current situation is actually used to find other ways to continue entertaining. "Instead, we have another way to entertain, so before performing, we wave at the camera, it becomes something new," said the dangdut singer who was rumored to be close to Uyaina Arsyad.

"Personally, if there are too many spectators in the studio with all their commotion, it distracts us from commenting. The hype is extraordinary when the participants are commented on by the judges. In short, I don't feel much different," he concluded.
