KapanLagi.com - Rani Zamala or better known as Rani DA3, is currently in the spotlight. The dangdut singer, who is a graduate of the Dangdut Academy competition, revealed that she has undergone plastic surgery in South Korea.
This step was taken after going through a fairly long consideration. Rani disclosed the reasons behind her decision to undergo the procedure.
She stated that she always receives negative comments regarding her appearance, ranging from being called "old face" to being told "it's pointless to create if your face is just ordinary".
"They say I have an old face, so it’s pointless to create art, pointless to make songs if they don’t go viral because my face is just ordinary. So indeed, the main factor is insecurity," she said.
The plastic surgery process was carried out in South Korea, a place known as the beauty capital of the world. Rani admitted that her desire to make this change has actually been there for two years.
"Yesterday the plastic surgery was in Korea. And if I were to choose the reasons for the plastic surgery yesterday, I’ve actually wanted it for almost two years now," she said.
However, due to various considerations such as mental readiness and a busy work schedule, the plan was delayed. Only this year did she feel ready to take the step.
"Just because of considerations that I wasn't ready for everything, it was postponed for now. Then last year it wasn't done either because of work, projects, and everything. So only this year can I be ready," she said.
Regarding the procedures she underwent, Rani explained that there were several parts of her face that were altered. She assured that the changes were more aimed at improving the structure of her face, not drastically changing her appearance.
"Yesterday I had 3D contouring. The face contour involved the cheekbones being sculpted. Then the jawbone. And then the cheekbone was moved to the smile line. I also had a rhinoplasty yesterday. Plus eyelid surgery and lifting," she explained.
