Resigned to the Court's Decision Later, Rhoma Irama Raises Hands to Ridho Rhoma's Fate

Kapanlagi.com - In early February, Ridho Rhoma was again arrested by the police for the use of illegal drugs. The singer was arrested in an apartment in South Jakarta with two other colleagues.

Ridho was charged under Article 112 of the Narcotics Law with a sentence of four to twelve years in prison. He was also charged under Article 127 of the Narcotics Law with a maximum prison sentence of four years.

In relation to this matter, Rhoma Irama as the father can only resign to his son's fate. He leaves all decisions to the outcome of the trial later.

"Ridho is currently still in the trial process, there are still one or two more hearings. In this matter, I fully entrust it to the policy of law enforcement, in this case, the Public Prosecutor, the judge, and the lawyer themselves. Ridho and I have accepted whatever decision will be made," said Rhoma, met in the Pela Mampang area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (21/7/2021).

Regarding Ridho Rhoma's second arrest, Rhoma Irama admitted that he has raised his hands. Now he hands it over to his son to take responsibility for himself.

"Don't let there be a third time. I have already declared hands up for the second time. This is to emphasize that he must take full responsibility for himself. So that Ridho can truly experience the deterrent effect," said the singer of the song Begadang.

While in detention, Rhoma revealed that Ridho cannot be visited due to Covid-19 protocols. So they can only communicate through phone calls.

"During this Covid period, visiting is not allowed, but occasionally we can talk on the phone. Maybe this is a warning, reminded by Allah again, falling into it," said the man known as the King of Dangdut.
