Singer Imam S Arifin Passes Away, Has Had a Stroke for a Year and Will Be Buried in Madura

"Yes, it's true. He passed away this afternoon around 13.00 WIB," said Saiful when contacted by reporters.

1. Long-time Stroke

Saiful said that Imam S Arifin had been suffering from stroke for a long time. The disease is suspected to be the cause of Imam S Arifin's death.

"(Died because of) Stroke. He had been having it for a year," said Saiful.

2. Before Death, He Experienced a Drop

Before taking his last breath, Saiful said that the singer of the song Dia Lelaki, Aku Lelaki had recovered from stroke and was able to walk. "But suddenly he dropped, his stomach and chest were in pain. We tried to take him to the hospital. But he didn't make it. He died on the way," said Saiful.

Imam S Arifin was born in Madura on November 19, 1960. The singer and songwriter's body is currently in his hometown in Madura.

Born on November 19, 1960, this singer was once married to Nana Mardiana, who is also a dangdut singer. They often performed duets and looked harmonious while singing a song. Unfortunately, they decided to separate and officially divorced on August 27, 2007, at the North Jakarta Religious Court.
