Gaga Muhammad's Father Comes to Laura Anna's Funeral Home, But Doesn't Meet the Family

Kapanlagi.com - Gaga Muhammad's father, Asep Yusman, once visited the Grand Heaven funeral home where Laura Anna's body was cremated. Asep came with Gaga Muhammad's lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid. However, Asep did not directly meet Laura Anna's family.

"Didn't get a chance to meet, we sat in the middle. I also observed the situation, worried about their current feelings," said Asep Yusman at the East Jakarta District Court, Thursday (16/12/2021).

Asep didn't want to disturb the mourning atmosphere of Laura Anna's family with his presence. Moreover, Laura Anna experienced paralysis due to the accident she had with Gaga Muhammad.

"We're worried about disturbing the mourning atmosphere. There's nothing. Our intention is to express condolences," he said.

Apparently, the presence of Asep with Gaga Muhammad's legal counsel at the funeral home was unknown to Anna Laura's parents. Asep admitted that he did not have the opportunity to do so.

"No, it's not that I didn't want to. I didn't know because we didn't have a chance to meet, Laura's family was in front of us in the middle," he said.

Asep Yusman, Gaga Muhammad, and his legal counsel, Fahmi Bachmid, plan to meet Laura Anna's parents. However, that can only happen if allowed by the judge of the East Jakarta District Court. Considering that Gaga Muhammad himself is currently serving a sentence due to a traffic accident case.

"That's what my lawyer is trying to convey, to ask for permission from the judge. To allow Gaga to pay his respects to Laura's (house)," Asep Yusman concluded.

Defendant Gaung Sabda Alam Muhammad, also known as Gaga Muhammad, is once again undergoing a trial related to the traffic accident he experienced with Edelenyi Laura Anna. The trial is held at the East Jakarta District Court on Thursday (12/16/2021).

However, the trial, which was scheduled for a witness from the public prosecutor's office (JPU), had to be postponed because the witness did not appear. Consequently, the trial was adjourned until December 21, 2021.

In the virtual trial, Gaga Muhammad expressed his deep condolences for his former girlfriend, Laura Anna, who passed away on Wednesday (12/15/2021). "I would like to convey the profound news of the passing of Laura Anna Edelenyi. May she be accepted in the presence of God and be accepted into His heaven, amen, that's all that matters," said Gaga Muhammad in court on Thursday (12/16/2021).

3. Want to Pay Respects

In addition, during the trial, Gaga Muhammad's lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid, mentioned his client's request to pay respects to the late Laura Anna.

"Please grant him a few hours to meet the deceased Laura, he wants to pay his respects," Fahmi said to the Panel of Judges.

4. Judge Requests Compliance with Procedure

Then, the Panel of Judges stated that the request could be submitted in writing. The judge requested Gaga to follow the procedure.

"Please submit it in writing, we have a mechanism for that, the issue is held by the executor of the handling of all matters to the public prosecutor," said the Panel of Judges.

Gaga Muhammad who is currently in custody was shocked to hear the news of Laura Anna's passing. This was stated by his lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid, at the East Jakarta District Court on Thursday (16/12/2021).

"His eyes were red with shock, as if he was about to cry. Last night, I met him and his father, Gaga was also there, his face looked like someone about to cry," said Fahmi Bachmid, on Thursday (16/12/2021).
