Before Passing Away, Laura Anna Asks to be Cremated Because She's Afraid of Being Alone in the Grave

Kapanlagi.com - The body of Selebgram Laura Anna has turned into ashes after being cremated at the Grand Heaven crematorium, Pluit, North Jakarta, on Thursday, December 16, 2021. The cremation process, which took about 4 hours, produced two types of ashes, namely core ashes and scattered ashes.

Today, on Friday (17/12), the family scattered Laura Anna's ashes at Ancol Beach. The ashes were from the coffin and the skin of the deceased, which were scattered at sea.

As for the core ashes, Amelia Edelenyi, Laura Anna's mother, revealed that she would keep them at home for 40 days. Then they will be stored in a special place for storing ashes of the deceased.

1. Keep at Home First

After scattering the ashes, the family will bring Laura's core ashes home. They will keep them at home before eventually storing them in a special ash house.

"The bone ashes will be kept at home for 40 days, then we will put them in the ash house," said Amelia.

2. Laura is Afraid of Being Alone

Meanwhile, Greta Irene, Laura Anna's sister, said that cremation was her sister's wish. Before she passed away, Laura expressed her desire to her sister.

"Regarding that, Laura also likes dark jokes, and she has had the desire for cremation for a long time. She said she is afraid of being alone in the cemetery. Laura has always been afraid of being alone, she needs someone to accompany her. So, for a few days, we will keep her ashes at home, so that Laura has someone to accompany her," said Greta.

The family of the late Laura Anna, represented by her sister Greta Irene, stated that they have forgiven the actions of Gaga Muhammad, which caused Laura to be paralyzed. However, according to Greta, the legal process is still ongoing to seek justice for her sister.

"We forgive, we forgive, but the law is still the law. Because I don't consider this an accident, it was negligence," said Greta Irene at Grand Heaven, Pluit, North Jakarta, on Thursday (16/12/2021).

4. Continuously Monitor the Judicial Process

Greta ensures that she will continuously monitor the judicial process for her sibling, which is still ongoing at the East Jakarta District Court.

"I will not stop. It will definitely continue, and I will continue to fight. In fact, I will fight for what Laura has been fighting for all this time," she said.

5. Fair Punishment

Greta hopes that the judge will give a fair punishment to Gaga Muhammad, who neglected his responsibilities after causing paralysis and depression to her late sibling.

"After his behavior a year ago, I cannot accept that my sibling was mistreated. If he had taken responsibility from the beginning, it wouldn't have turned out like this. Laura's gastric acid reflux worsened due to depression. Maybe she wouldn't have any issues if her gastric acid reflux didn't worsen," said Greta Irene.
