"The conservator's request to immediately remove James P. Spears and appoint Bessemer Trust Company of California as the sole conservator is rejected without suspicion," reads the document released by the Los Angeles Superior Court.

This means that Britney's father will continue to play a major role in this conservatorship going forward. For those who don't know, conservatorship itself is a legal court arrangement in the United States that grants authority to another party over someone who is deemed incapable of managing their own finances.

2. Not the First Failure

As a result, Britney once again has to swallow the bitter pill that has haunted her for the past 13 years. The court's rejection in this conservatorship case is not the first.

Previously, she also failed to fight against her own father in November 2020. Just like now, the Los Angeles Superior Court rejected Britney's legal team's request to remove James P. Spears as the main conservator.
