Madame Tussauds officially announced the global launch of 13 wax figures of Taylor Swift. This project marks the largest multi-figure wax statue launch in the 250-year history of the museum.
Each Taylor Swift statue is placed in a different city, spread across four continents. Some of the cities that have showcased these statues include Hollywood, Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, and Nashville.
Each statue wears costumes directly inspired by each era of Taylor Swift's albums. For example, the statue in Hollywood wears a purple dress from the Speak Now era, and Las Vegas features a gold mini dress from the Fearless era.
New York City features a statue of Taylor in a tinsel jacket and blue playsuit from the era of Midnights. Meanwhile, in Orlando, Taylor appears in a black sequin catsuit from Reputation, and in Nashville, she wears a mustard-colored Etro dress from Evermore.
All of these statues were prepared over 14 months and crafted by more than 40 artists. The creation process involved high-precision techniques to capture Taylor Swift's expressions and signature style from each of her eras.
Madame Tussauds, through Global Brand Director Laura Sheard, stated that Taylor Swift's success moment through the Eras Tour was the perfect time for this launch.
