Zendaya Responds to Sam Levinson's Allegations Regarding the Delay of 'EUPHORIA' Season 3

"All I can say is, I haven't been involved for a few years, so this delay is not due to my schedule... I have been open and just waiting," Zendaya said with a laugh in her interview with Vanity Fair published on Wednesday.

Zendaya, who is now 28 years old, explained that although she has two major films released this year, namely Dune: Part Two and Challengers, the filming for both films actually wrapped up in 2022.

This Emmy winner confirmed that the filming process for Euphoria is scheduled to resume in January 2025, although no further details have been provided. Zendaya herself has not read the latest script but remains excited to see the work of everyone involved.

Zendaya's comments come less than four months after shocking reports about the future of Euphoria stated that the star had delayed production to focus on her increasingly successful film career.

A source close to Euphoria creator Sam Levinson told Hollywood Reporter in July, "It's all because of (Zendaya). Many want to blame Sam, but it's actually because of her."

The report also revealed that Zendaya's relationship with Sam, which was previously close, now seems to be "cooling off," leading to frustration from the 39-year-old creator.
