"God, Do You Really Hear Me?": Growing Up Without a Complete Home

With an atmosphere dominated by white and cream colors, invited guests, media, and not to forget, 5 Movieverse members who also attended as guests, enlivened the event. The presence of main cast members such as Revalina S Temat, Gunawan Sudrajat, Megan Domani, Annisa Kaila, Alex Abbad, Sheila Kusnadi, and other artists further enhanced the special Gala Premiere held at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta.

The story revolves around the life of Sarah (Revalina S Temat) who must rebuild her life after being betrayed by her husband. Unfortunately, the suffering does not stop there; amidst her pain, she is forced to care for the man who betrayed her, helping her husband's young wife. The wounds feel even deeper as her relationship with her daughter simultaneously deteriorates. Losing a complete home causes Laila (Annisa Kaila) to grow up with a lack of affection, leading her into a troubled life.

Movieverse members provided many positive comments, and some even related to the film that tells the story of Sarah's struggle to remain resilient in facing the trials she endures through prayer and obedience. Desy Rachma: A religious film that is different from others, apart from the deep meaning about the steadfastness of a servant in facing life's trials, we will also be confused about whom to side with, because all characters have their own reasons; as viewers, we cannot judge anyone even if they seem wrong at the beginning of the story. In reality, is there anyone who can be as patient as Sarah with such relentless trials? Honestly, this film is quite relatable to me, as a single parent I become aware that my daughter should not lack attention and affection so that she does not end up like Laila.

Vita: The film is really good!!!! I wonder if there are people who can relate to Sarah's story in real life? If so, YOU are among those who are patient, sincere, and strong. God will not give a test that is too great beyond our capabilities. In my opinion, the key in this film is COMMUNICATION!!

M. Kairul: This film is very relatable, about divorce. Sarah, a mother who becomes a single mother, goes through an inner life while raising her child. Laila, she is forced to grow up facing the bitter reality that she was born into a 'broken home' family. Tested in living life and the wounds inflicted by her husband, father, and also the head of the family. Hoping that prayers are heard by the Creator. The performance of the actors also touches the audience in this emotional and dramatic story.
