To fulfill the graduation requirements for the Documentary course, students from the Multimedia Broadcasting program at UI, class of 2023, need to create documentary videos. They were divided into ten groups, resulting in a total of ten screenings. Each member will be assigned their own roles, including director, scriptwriter, and audio technician.
Each documentary averages a duration of about 10--15 minutes. The stories presented by the students include the struggles of sea motorcycle taxi drivers in the Cilincing area, a bereavement photographer, an educator who is also a pastor, a teacher from SLBN Depok, a diving instructor, a toilet attendant at Jatinegara Market, and vendors trading at the TPU.
There are also stories about the ups and downs of a founder of a small café in Depok, a small art studio called Kongsi8, and the existence of Masjid Lautze, which aims to educate the Chinese community in Indonesia about Islam. The screening session of these ten videos concluded around 12:40 PM WIB, with a one-hour break for rest.
