IdeaFest 2025 Raises the Theme '(Cult)ivate the Culture', Presents Hundreds of Creative Speakers from Various Fields

Kapanlagi.com - IdeaFest, the largest annual creative festival in Indonesia, is finally back at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) Senayan. This time, the event carries the theme (Cult)ivate the Culture which highlights the importance of culture as the root of creative innovation.

For three consecutive days, from October 31 to November 2, 2025, IdeaFest will present various inspiring sessions with hundreds of national and international creative figures who will enliven this event. 1. Bringing Together More than 500 Creative Speakers

Entering its 14th year, IdeaFest 2025 arrives with a new spirit. With the theme (Cult)ivate the Culture, this festival aims to invite creative industry players to explore cultural values and transform them into a collective movement. Located at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) Senayan, IdeaFest 2025 will take place over three days, from October 31 to November 2, 2025.

More than 500 national and international speakers will participate in over 120 discussion sessions that address innovation and collaboration, as well as the role of culture in the creative industry. This event serves as a space for creators to share ideas while building a sustainable ecosystem.

Ben Soebiakto, Co-Chair of IdeaFest 2025, stated that culture is essential as the foundation of every original idea. "We want to encourage industry players not only to be consumers of culture but also to be active cultivators who plant, nurture, and develop cultural values to keep them relevant," he said.

2. Presenting Discussion Sessions with Various Interesting Topics

IdeaFest has prepared more than 120 discussion sessions addressing innovation, collaboration, and the function of culture. The festival offers various types of seminars and talk shows with a range of interesting topics for visitors to choose from.

One of the most popular discussion sessions is a seminar titled Critical Thinking and Its Usage in Life, featuring two influential speakers: Abigail Limuria, a young Indonesian writer and activist on social and political issues, and Okki Sutanto, a prominent writer and speaker in Indonesia. They discuss critical thinking topics such as tips for critical thinking and how to avoid mistakes in reasoning or logical fallacies.

Not only does IdeaFest create a space for the younger generation to prepare for developing Indonesia's creative ecosystem, but it also provides a platform for the arts and culture to showcase their influence in the creative industry through the talk show Celebrating the Best of Indonesian Theater with Happy Salma, an artist and founder of the Indonesian Theater Festival. Additionally, there are many other relevant discussion topics that are equally interesting.

Through these various inspiring sessions, IdeaFest 2025 successfully presents a space for cross-disciplinary collaboration while demonstrating that culture can be an unlimited source of creative ideas.
