According to the released trailer and synopsis, the film PENYALIN CAHAYA focuses on a girl named Sur, portrayed by actress Shenina Cinnamon.

Sur, who has a bright future thanks to the scholarship he received, has to let go of everything because of a selfie taken while drunk after a party that went viral on social media.

Sur, who can't remember anything about the events of the night he was drunk, feels trapped by someone.

According to the film trailer Light Copyist, Sur's family consists of 3 people, namely Sur, his father, and his mother.

Sur's family is not a wealthy family, as seen from how sad Sur is when he loses the scholarship that has been supporting his college activities.

Rice has turned into porridge. The photo that has been circulating on the internet cannot be deleted anymore by Sur who made an extreme decision.

Although sad and frustrated, Sur is not willing to be trapped into doing something that would make him lose his future.

Sur then tries to search for and retrieve data from the people who attended the party where he was trapped by hacking into their accounts.

Sur asks for help from his childhood friend to uncover the person who drugged him.

Sur's childhood friend named Amin, played by Chicco Kurniawan.

The director, Wregas Bhanuteja, said that the character Amin is directly proportional to his actor, Chicco Kurniawan, who has been working in the industry since he was young.
