After 2 Years Absence, Anugerah Lembaga Sensor Film 2021 Will Be Held Next Month!

Kapanlagi.com - The Film Censorship Board (LSF) is finally holding the Anugerah Lembaga Sensor Film 2021 after a 2-year hiatus. This was announced directly by the Chairman of LSF, Rommy Fibri Hardiyanto.

In front of the media, Rommy Fibri Hardiyanto expressed the importance of prestigious events like the Anugerah Lembaga Sensor Film. According to him, this event is a form of appreciation from LSF to the film industry in the country.

"This is LSF's appreciation for Indonesian filmmakers who have presented positive shows for the community," said Rommy as quoted from Liputan6.

Furthermore, Rommy added that the event will be held in November. As for the theme, Anugerah Lembaga Sensor Film 2021 will carry the theme 'Intelligently Selecting and Choosing Shows'.

"It is expected to trigger a positive mindset in society to support the Independent Sensor Culture, so that there is awareness among the public about age-appropriate entertainment," said Rommy Fibri Hardiyanto.

As an appreciation for exhibitors who meet the independent sensor criteria, LSF has several parameters. These include prioritizing education, culture, and carrying out the functions, purposes, principles of film, and adding value to films that receive awards.

This is expected to serve as motivation for improving the quality and quantity of local film works. There are at least 17 jury members from various backgrounds, ranging from filmmakers to representatives of the people.

"For TV programs, it aired from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. For cinema films, it covers the period from January 1, 2019 to October 31, 2021. The cinema film period is longer due to limited cinema showings during the pandemic," concluded Rommy Fibri Hardiyanto.
