Admitting Her Messy Condition, Ria Ricis Gets Scolded by Director While Filming 'KIBLAT'

Kapanlagi.com - Ria Ricis shares her experience in being involved in the film KIBLAT produced by Leo Pictures. Ricis admits that it is not easy to portray her character in the film, especially amidst the problems in her household with Teuku Ryan, which is currently in conflict.

Ria Ricis says that she had difficulties concentrating during the filming process of the movie KIBLAT. In fact, she often received reprimands from director Bobby Prasetyo for not reading the script before filming started.

"I play the role of Rini. It seems like during filming, Om Bobby always gets angry with me. I often haven't read the script," said Ria Ricis in a press conference for the movie Kiblat, XXI Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (21/3/2024).

"Because I was busy with my child, it happened that my condition was messy during shooting. I always say, 'Uncle Bobby, I haven't read the script yet'. But I prove that even though I get scolded every day," added Ria Ricis.

This mother of one child feels grateful for the support given by the director and the KIBLAT film team who helped her complete her task in portraying the character of Rini. This happened even though at that time Ricis was facing a bad mood.

"The situation was really messy. Thank God I got full support from the cast, and they really supported my system. I was helped," said Ricis.

2. Still Striving to be Professional

Ricis revealed that there was one moment where she asked permission from the director to have some time alone for about 1 hour. Despite facing a bad household situation, Ricis remained determined to be professional in completing her work.

"There was one moment where I asked for an hour of permission, I couldn't be bothered. I was so confused, on one hand it was important but this is also important, I have to be professional, what should I do," she said.

In addition to Ria Ricis, the film KIBLAT is also starred by famous actors and actresses. Starting from Arbani Yasiz, Yasmin Napper, Hana Saraswati, Denis Adhiswara, and many others.
